Abdullah’s legacy
Legend says that a spice merchant named Abdullah, on his way to the market, got into a fight with his dromedaries causing the sacks of spices to scatter on the ground. Far from becoming an inconvenience, Abdullah had the idea of selling them as a well-known exotic mixture. The combination became so famous that he sold out everything.
